It is very hard to define what is folkrock and what is not. The limits are very close and there are songs and bands from whoch it is not easy to decide wather they are folk rock or not.
There are people who do not know what is folk rock. It is the combination of the folk songs and rock songs. This is the simplest way of explaining it. Some typical bands are the The Byrds and Bob Dylan. They are big faces in the folk rock style and they are those who you can remember if you speak about folk rock music style. It has appeared in 1960s in America and after that has spread all over the world. It was very popular only for a short period of time but in those days they were very famous. The stars never shine to long. It is always the right period when they do have to appear and after that they live, work and perform as much as they can because they know that they do not have so much time for their disposal. The specialist says that the folk rock music has not died, they live and you can find some effects in several types of music. Music never end just like this, they have a period when they are on top but after that they live and wait for the time when they can be a bit more popular and somebody notice them too. There are people who do not like the folk rock music; they say that it is not a good combination. They claim about that why do they had to combine the folk music with the rock music. It is a personal decision if you like a type of music or not but you are not allowed to complain about it or say bad thing about the type of music. If you do not like then do not listen to it. It is not obligatory. Folk music was not listening by everybody. Only for those was interesting who could understand and make a good difference between good music and bad music.
